Week 19 Theme

This week might prove rather challenging for me. Getting out of the house with two little ones that are on opposite nap schedules - although getting much easier - is still pretty difficult. If I could make my way to downtown D-town, I would be all set! Unfortunately, that's not very likely. I've got a couple of ideas (as usual...lol), but we'll see what pans out!

Week 18: TOYS

Yeah, I could have done the "explosion" picture with all of the toys ALL. OVER. MY HOUSE, but that didn't seem original enough. This isn't really even original, but It will do! Please take note of the random Sweet Potato Puff chilling in the bottom right corner of the picture...haha

Week 18 Theme

This week should be totally easy. I have one picture already that I took yesterday, but it's not the caliber I would like to use.

The theme for week 18 is toys! Now...with 2 kids running around, one would think this would be totally easy. I really want to be creative and not just use a picture that makes my house look like a toy bomb exploded. We'll see what I can come up with!

Week 17: WEAPON

This week could have been a lot of things. I might try to tackle a few of the other pictures that I wanted to take at a later time, just to see how they would have come out. Here is the picture I got, though! Not overly impressive since I totally waited until the last minute, but it will work!

Week 17 Theme

This weeks theme is WEAPON. Now, I know what the obvious answer is for this week, but I want to try to think way outside of the box. One person that is doing this 52 week project with me has already posted a photo for this week, and it is STUNNING! It's a picture of her feet...in black patent leather stiletto's!! I adore that picture!

Some of the ideas that I have running around in my head right now are chairs (bar fight anyone?), knives, ammunition...among other things. We'll see what I manage to pull off!

Weeks 10 - 16: Themes and Photos

Ok, here's the big update! It will likely be pretty long since I like to give a little bit of a story along with the theme/photograph that I've taken, but I will try to stick to Cliff's Notes versions for you!

Week 10: AROUND THE HOUSE
Whoops! Forgot to add this one in the original update, so I'm editing to add my AROUND THE HOUSE photograph!

Week 11: Theme
The week 11 theme was LIGHT. I had many ideas running through my mind. Setting up a candles in a mirror, sunlight peeking through the tree in the back yard, the really cool looking lamp we have in our living room. Unfortunately, none of them panned out. I do like the picture I wound up with, but it was not in the plans!

Week 12: Theme
The theme for week 12 was HANDS. Again, I had plenty of ideas! My hand and Michael's with our wedding rings showing, my hand with the kids' hands, all four of us with our hands together...all kinds of things! Now, a toddler and an infant make getting a picture of all four of us rather tricky sometimes, so I switched gears...and went with hands on a clock!

Week 13: Theme
For week 13, the theme was "THE VIEW FROM HERE". I was at a loss. I had one idea. ONE. And it involved a picture of my kids playing in the living room. That was IT. Haha! Well, that week my husband and I took his brother and niece to a Red Wings game, and my "view" photo was born! We were 7 rows from the ice right where the Zamboni comes out!

Week 14: Theme
This week would prove challenging. I was at my sister's house for a while, and out of my element. I was looking out her back door one evening after everyone had gone to bed and I said to her "I'll be right back." I headed out to her back yard, to the pool gate. I am really pleased with the picture I got!

Week 15: Theme
Oh, week 15...FIRE...how you eluded me. I had no idea what to do. None...then my favorite old t-shirt which was entering the retirement phase popped into my head.

Week 16: Theme
The them for week 16 was LINE(S). I was lost again. I had nothin'. Then I looked out the window early one morning, and the picture I took became my photograph for LINE(S).

Whew...that turned out a bit longer than I expected! I hope you enjoyed it.

So sorry I got behind again! I've got the big update post in the works, so hang in there, it's coming!

Week 10 Theme

The theme for this week...AROUND THE HOUSE. Wide open. WIDE open. Dishes? Snap a photo. Toys strewn about by your kids? Snap a photo. Cool looking lamp? Snap a photo. <---that one is my plan this week. Snazzy looking candle holder? Snap a photo. (Also a possibility). Cool looking railing on the stairs? Snap a photo...

Heck, step outside and get a picture of the awkward knot in the fence. Or the bare branches of some lilac bushes. Got some lattice on your deck? Take a picture! Neat little naked tree in your flower garden? Take a picture!

Week 9: JEWELRY

Well, the picture I really wanted to get, was one of my daughter's freshly pierced ears. However...that probably will not be happening for a few more days. Oh well. This picture turned out better than I had hoped it would, so I'm very pleased with it, and I'm SO glad this turned into my week 9 photo!

I know I've been falling behind a little. I'm going to work on being better about updating here for anyone that is interested. So having said that, sorry for the double post today!

The theme for week 9 is jewelry. I can't WAIT to get my picture for this week!!! The one that I wanted to get isn't going to happen unless we make it happen tomorrow...so my second choice will have to work!
